Selbstverdichtender Beton (SVB) ist in Deutschland ein relativ junger Baustoff im konstruktiven Ingenieurbau, für den es noch keine Norm gibt. Der Einsatz von SVB kann die Qualität und Dauerhaftigkeit von Bauwerken verbessern und zu einer ökonomischeren Bauweise führen. An ausgewählten Projekten wurde den Fragen nachgegangen, welche Einsatzgebiete im Brückenbau an Bundesfernstraßen für SVB geeignet sind und wie hoch der Nutzen im Vergleich zum Aufwand ist. Besondere Anforderungen ergeben sich im Brückenbau aus den relativ großen Abmessungen der Bauteile und den konstruktiven Anforderungen an einzelne Bauteile, wie z. B. das Längs- und Quergefälle von Fahrbahnplatten. Mit den vor Ort zur Verfügung stehenden Ausgangsstoffen müssen im Transportbetonwerk große Mengen SVB kontinuierlich hergestellt und in das Bauwerk in Sichtbetonqualität eingebaut werden.
Am Beispiel von unterschiedlichen Bauwerken (Widerlager, Fertigteildeckenelemente, Bogentragwerk, Pfeilerkopf) wird gezeigt, dass die Vorteile von SVB auch im Brückenbau unter baupraktischen Bedingungen genutzt werden können. SVB ist jedoch nicht für jedes Brückenbauteil geeignet. Der Einsatz von SVB verlangt eine umfassende Vorplanung. Auftraggeber, Tragwerksplaner, Bauunternehmung und Betonhersteller sollten nicht nur die ausgezeichneten Eigenschaften des SVB sondern auch die Besonderheiten des Werkstoffs kennen. Der technologische, logistische und wirtschaftliche Aufwand für Herstellung und Verarbeitung von SVB im Brückenbau ist im Vergleich zu konventionellem Rüttelbeton sehr hoch. Wichtige Kriterien bei der Abwägung von Kosten und Nutzen sind die zu erwartende hohe Ausführungsqualität auch schwer zugänglicher Hohlräume sowie der Wegfall von Lärmbelastung und Vibrationen aus der Verdichtungsarbeit.
| Translation - English Self-Compacting Concrete in bridge construction on federal trunk roads
Self-Compacting Concrete (SCC) is a relatively recent building material in constructive civil engineering in Germany, for which there is still no standard. The use of SCC can improve the quality and stability of structures and can lead to a more economical way of construction. The issue was dealt with further in selected projects which discussed which areas of use in bridge construction on federal trunk roads are suitable for SCC and how high the use is compared to expenditure. Bridge construction places special requirements due to the relatively large dimensions of the structural parts and the design requirements of the individual structural parts, such as, for example, the longitudinal and transverse incline of orthotropic plates/slabs. Large quantities of SCC have to be continuously produced in the ready-mixed concrete transport plants and installed in the structure in the quality of exposed concrete with the basic materials available on location.
Using different structures as examples (abutments, pre-cast concrete paving, arch constructions and pier heads), we show that the advantages of SCC can also be applied in bridge construction under conditions practical for construction. However, SCC is not suitable for any structural part of a bridge. The use of SCC requires extensive preliminary planning. The customer, construction planner, construction company and concrete manufacturer should not only be familiar with the excellent properties of SCC but also with the peculiarities of the material. The technological, logistical and economic expenditure involved in the production and processing of SCC in bridge construction is very high compared to conventional vibrated concrete. Important criteria when estimating costs and benefits are the expected high quality of workmanship for cavities that are difficult to access as well as the elimination of noise pollution and vibrations resulting from compacting work.
