About me
Hello. My name is Emi Jones.
I am a nationally accredited translator in Australia (NAATI) from English to Japanese.
Based in Perth, Western Australia,I assist communications by building a bridge between English and Japanese.
I am originally from Yamagata, Japan. I grew up in the beautiful countryside surrounded by mountains and greenery. I left my hometown when I went to university in Yamanashi. Then moving around places like Sendai, Sydney, Saitama, Perth and Tokyo, while building up career and learning tirelessly, I was looking for the opportunity to migrate to Australia. Originally specialised in English language and education and after working in teaching and the educational industry, I finally realised my dream in 1998.
Having happily settled in this beautiful city, I call Perth my second hometown. As a person who fell in love with the English language and who lives in an English-speaking country, like a fish being released in the ocean, I've had a series of extraordinary experiences of happiness and challenges.
After gaining some practical experience in the workforce in Perth for several years, I found myself fascinated in the power of living and ever-evolving languages and decided to pursue a career as a translator and interpreter or a specialist in communication and language. I continue to devote myself to offer reliable services with a mission to make a bridge between English and Japanese.
