I am a professional translator working in English, Spanish and Catalan. I have been working as a freelancer for the last 10 years, after having worked as an in-house translator and interpreter for engineering companies in Spain and the UK for about 7 years.
I also have a solid academic background in the field of Humanities. Apart from being a translator, in the last few years I have been an Associate Lecturer at the Manchester Metropolitan University (UK), where I have taught European Philosophy. My first academic book (written in English) in on the press at the moment (which is very exciting!). I have also published academic articles in English in various journals, and short stories in Catalan and in Spanish.
