My name is Bert Firnhaber,

in 1994 I have received my degree in Technical translation, English.

From October 1994 to July 2009 I have been employed in a well known machine factory in Flensburg, having an export share of approx. 90%. Due to worldwide sales of the production lines there was a large demand for translations of the individual documentation. Generally I have translated to English or Spanish and was in charge of organizing the timely delivery of documentation.
I have awarded all other language pairs to freelancers.

I have expert knowledge in plant engineering, particularly in the field of woodworking machinery (automatic panel sizing saws, industrial sanding machines and cooperage equipment).
In these fields I also translate into English.

For all other branches I only translate from English to German
