Biological filtration is a process where toxic nitrogen compounds such as ammonia and
nitrite (Fish waste) are removed from the system via a breakdown process carried out by nitrifying bacteria. (Nitrobacter and Nitrosomas).

I also moderate several online groups and forums (a.a. iTunes, Intel, Nokia, etc.) on Facebook and other social networking sites. I love getting paid for playing ;-)
Pets - I have a one-of-a-kind argentine bat dog.
Tropical Fish - I own two fishtanks. A small one for red cherry shrimps and a big one for tiger barbs and ancistrus.
Audio Books - When I was a kid, my mom used to read bed-time stories to me. Now my mp3 player does it. I love listening to thrillers.
Edgar Allan Poe - I am fascinated by his genius and by his way of playing with words. My Thesis was written in defense of him. I can't get enough of his wonderful poetry and still "hear" The Bells.
Vincent Van Gogh - I spent a wonderful time in Southern France, following the traces he left. My heart beat faster whenever I visited a place where he had lived and worked.
Edmund Blackadder - For those who are not familiar with him: Rowan Atkinson is the actor who brings him to life, the same who starred as Mr. Bean.
The Blackadder series lives on a completely different type of humour. If you are into Queen's English and enjoy sophisticated jokes, this series is for you.
Travelling - Exploring a new country is fascinating. Getting to know the people and learning about their culture is a very rewarding experience.
Argentina - I fell in love with the country and it's people some years ago and decided to give up my German safety and jump into the Southamerican adventure. I never regretted this decision. I miss my friends, the country and all the lovely people I met. Que alguien me de un mate por favor!
