I have worked as an in-house translator and senior translator for a firm specialized in the translation and localization and, in particular, in the publication of official journals for the EU.
I was a member of the Portuguese translation department and I was involved in the translation/revision of texts from English, French, Italian and Spanish into Portuguese, especially calls for tenders published daily by the EU, but also other documents published by the European institutions and other customers from the public sector (B2B).
Moreover, I was the Translation Team Leader for the Spanish group and responsible for organizing all translation projects and human resources. I was handling translation projects for private and public customers.
I have a sound knowledge of Trados (professional and freelance versions) and I’m very familiar with multilingual documents.
I can translate from English, French, Italian and Spanish into Portuguese and from English, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese into French
Apart from translation I can do revision, proofreading and project management.
