About me
As an amateur musician myself, I particularly enjoy translating texts related to music. (So far, I tried the violin as a child, studied the clarinet more thoroughly, and eventually turned to the euphonium; I've also been singing in choirs since the age of five). My clients in this field include the French Groupe de recherches musicales (www.ina.fr/grm) and Universal Edition, an Austrian music publisher (www.uemusic.at).

I also work on a regular basis for the Council of Europe, an international organisation whose core aims are to protect human rights, pluralist democracy and the rule of law.

In 2007, I successfully passed the United Nations' competitive examination for French translators; in November and December 2008, I worked as a Verbatim reporter at the UN headquarters in New York.

I also
- have translation experience in the field of cooking - menus, recipes, and parts of a book entitled Culinary cultures of Europe - Identity, diversity and dialogue (Council of Europe publishing);
- practice climbing, and thus master the vocabulary of mountain sports.

I now live and work as a freelance translator in Toulouse.
