DescriptionThe English Department of Universitat Rovira i Virgili offers translations courses at a BA, Masters and PhD level.
Within the BA of English Studies, it is possible to obtain a concentration in translation by selecting all translation related optional courses (General Translation, Translation into Spanish, Literary Translation, Technical translation and Translation into English). The previous Masters in Translation and Intercultural Studies is currently remodelled within the Masters in Professional English-Spanish Translation, which will start again in September 2014. The previous PhD in Translation and Intercultural Studies will become part of the more general PhD in Human Science, which will allow a specialization in Translation. The Masters and the Phd are run by the Intercultural Studies Group, a research group specialized in mediation between cultures. Further information can be found at http://isg.urv.es
