The Israel Translators Association (ITA) is an organization of people involved in the translation and interpretation professions. Our members work in a wide variety of languages and take pride in the work that they do. While many of us are products of different cultures and professional backgrounds, we are all united our effort to enhance the status of our chosen profession.
In pursuit of this goal, the ITA is dedicated to:
Promoting the translation and interpretation professions
Increasing public awareness as to what translators and interpreters actually do
Encouraging practical and academic translation and interpretation studies
Fostering high professional standards
Providing our membership with theoretical and practical information and tools
