We were around 20 people and had a very good time eating yummy Christmas food, opening Secret Santa presents and relaxing in a candle lit atmosphere.
My prezzi was this wonderful wooden mortar used for grinding spice. A funny incident was that Dennis, who is Russian, received a little language course "Russian for Beginners". We all had a good laugh!
The main Powwow ended around 6 pm but 6 of us stayed a bit longer, sharing our viewpoints about 'God and the World' with a good glass of wine.
The next Powwow will mark the 1st anniversary of the "London Stammtisch" - organised by Katharina this time - and you are, of course, all invited!
Have a wonderful Christmas and a very happy New Year!
Hi Celine,
I cannot find your profile, so if you just reply to this post I can add you to the attendees and you receive your BrowniZ.
Thank you!

Thank you to Arianna and Katerina for organising a lovely get together. It was my first powwow in London and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Happy Christmas to all!

Hi - great to meet you, sorry for popping in quickly and dashing off just as fast. Will try to attend the next one and be a bit more involved. Have a lovely Xmas!
Dec 10 '07Ute Fitzjohn: Thanks for the Christmas get-together
I really enjoyed the secret santa and meeting fellow translators. All the different sweets and candles really added to a cosy atmosphere as well. Merry Christmas to everyone and a happy new year.
