Source text - English 1. Oven
At the oven entrance the painted parts must have a uniform surface without any droplets of water or UF on the exterior: any such surface water would otherwise give rise to burns on the stoved paint film.
The oven entrance has an upward gradient while the exit has a downward gradient in order to retain the maximum amount of warm air inside the oven. This solution exploits the phenomenon whereby hot air, being less dense, tends to rise.
The oven is composed of a structure in steel profiles and insulated galvanised steel panelling forming the walls.
The thickness of the sidewalls, roof, and floor is 150 mm, the density of the mineral wool utilised for thermal insulation is 40 kg/m3, while the joints are fashioned in such a way as to minimise transmission of heat from inside the oven to the outer wall.
The construction design of the oven, the panelling, and joints, ensures a high degree of heat insulation thereby minimising heat losses to create a global solution that results in low running costs.
The oven for stoving cataphoretically coated parts is designed to supply the necessary amount of heat to achieve reticulation of the paint film by means of heating through air circulation. This type of oven mainly exploits the principle of thermal conduction, i.e. placing the parts in contact with hot air.
A group of blower fans, featuring low noise operation and easy inspection facilities, creates air circulation between the oven chamber and the heat exchanger, ensuring uniform distribution of temperature of the air inside the oven. The fan units are equipped with differential pressure switches that read the condition of fan wheel rotation and, in the event of faults, generate an appropriate alarm signal. The hot air is supplied to the oven chamber by means of a system of specially designed electrically controlled registers (plenums).
The necessary renewal of the internal atmosphere is achieved by means of an adjustable external air intake.
For inspection and maintenance work, access is provided to the oven roof by means of marine style ladders. The oven roof is equipped with railings so that maintenance of the extractor fans and access to the flues for oven fumes checking procedures can be executed in conditions of safety.
Since the oven heating power exceeds 100,000 kCal/h it is subject to an obligatory Fire Prevention Certificate, which can be obtained from your local Fire Service Department offices.
1. Overstoving
This phenomenon occurs when the part to be stoved is subjected to oven temperatures or times that are significantly higher than standard temperatures and times. In normal circumstances this situation does not give rise to quality problems, although in extreme circumstances it can cause the paint film to become brittle.
Another risk is that the paint film thickness could be reduced to the point where it is lower than the required minimum limit.
2. Understoving
If the part is subjected to lower than standard temperatures or oven times (or both conditions) the paint film will be incompletely reticulated.
This will result in a film that can be easily scratched with a fingernail, is not resistant to solvents, and fails to offer the required level of corrosion resistance.
3. Weight loss
During the stoving cycle the weight of the cataphoretically applied paint film is reduced (an infinitesimal part of this weight loss is due to the elimination of water molecules from the phosphate conversion coating crystalline structure).
The primary cause for weight loss is due to the water and solvents incorporated in the paint film and the elimination of various volatile substances due to the film reticulation reactions. The average percentage of weight reduction ranges from 6% to 20% of the initial weight of the wet film.
Clearly, during this process the film is subject to an analogous reduction in thickness. Also pronounced overstoving can exacerbate these two phenomena (reduction of film weight and thickness).
The balance of airflows in the oven is designed to eliminate all the substances released by the paint film during the stoving cycle.

Fırın girişinde, boyanmış kısımların dış taraflarında herhangi bir su veya UF damlası olmaksızın, birörnek yüzeyi olması gerekir: Aksi takdirde, yüzeyde su bulunması kurutulmuş boya tabakasında yanıklara yol açacaktır.
Fırının içindeki sıcak hava miktarını azamide tutmak için, girişinde yukarıya doğru bir meyil, çıkışında ise aşağıya doğru bir meyil vardır. Bu çözüm sıcak havanın daha az yoğun, yükselmeye eğimli oluşu olgusundan yararlanmaktadır.
Fırın, çelik profilleri ve izole edilmiş galvanize çelik panellerinden müteşekkil duvar yapısından oluşmuştur.
Yan duvarların, tavanın ve tabanın kalınlıkları 150 mm, termal yalıtım için kullanılan madenyününün yoğunluğu 40 kg/m3’dir. Birleşme noktaları, fırının içinden dış duvara ısı iletimini en aza indirgemek üzere tasarlanmıştır.
Fırının, panellerin ve birleşme noktalarının yapı tasarımı yüksek oranda ısı yalıtımı sağlar, bu suretle ısı kaybı en aza indirgenerek düşük işleme masrafı sağlayan bir küresel çözüm yaratılır.
Katoferez kaplama parçalı kurutma fırını, hava sirkülasyonlu ısıtmayla boya tabakasının retikülasyonunu elde etmek için gerekli ısı miktarını sağlamak üzere tasarlanmıştır. Bu tip fırınlar genelde -temastaki parçalarını sıcak havayla doldurarak vb.- ısı iletiminden yararlanır.
Düşük gürültüyle çalışan ve kolay denetim özellikli bir grup üflemeli fan, fırının içindeki havanın ısısısının düzgün dağıtımını temin ederek fırın oldası ile ısı değiştirici arasındaki hava sirkülasyonunu sağlar. Fan üniteleri, fan çarkının devir durumunu kontrol edip hata durumunda uygun alarm sinyalini üreten diferansiyal basınç devre anahtarlarıyla donatılmıştır. Sıcak hava, özel tasarlanmış elektrik kontrollü regülatörlerle fırın odasına ulaştırılır.
Zaruri iç atmosfer değişikliği ayarlanabilir harici hava girişiyle elde edilir.
Denetleme ve bakım işleri için fırın tavanına deniz tipi merdivenlerle giriş sağlanır. Fırın tavanı çıkarıcı fanların bakımı ve fırın dumanı bacası kontrol işlemlerinin güvenli bir şekilde yapılabilmesi için parmaklıklarla donatılmıştır.
Fırın ısıtma gücü 100,000 kCal/s’den fazla olduğundan, yerel İtfaiye dairenizden elde edebileceğiniz Yangın Önleme Sertifikası’nı haiz olmanız mecburidir.
Aşırı Kurutma
Bu olgu, kurutulacak kısmın standart derece ve süreden çok daha ileri düzey fırın derecelerine veya sürelerine maruz kalması hâlinde meydana gelir. Her ne kadar sıradışı hâllerde film tabakasında gevreklik başgöstersede, normal hâllerde bu durum kalite problemlerine yol açmaz.
Bir diğer risk ise, film tabakası kalınlığının gerekli asgari limitin altına inmesidir.
Az Kurutma
Kurutulacak kısmın standart derece veya fırın süresindenden (ya da her ikisinden birden) daha azına maruz kalması hâlinde, boya tabakası retikülasyonu yarım kalacaktır.
Bunun sonucunda boya tabakası parmak tırnağıyla kolayca çizilebilecek, çözücülere karşı dayanıklı olmayacak ve yeteri derecede korozyon rezistansı sunmaktan aciz kalacaktır.

The decision making process, whether the loan should be approved or rejected, is
referred to as ‘Underwriting’. It can be done either by a third party organization
or an underwriting department of the bank or financial institution in question.
The underwriting process involves verification of the information captured in the
application.
In case of property loans and vehicle loans, the underwriter will check to confirm
the stated value, title details etc. The underwriters assess the capacity and the
intention of the applicant to repay the debt. The financial health and credit
worthiness of the applicants are used to ascertain these details.
The asset/liability position of the applicants and their current expenditures,
saving potential etc. is used to arrive at their repaying capacity.
The underwriter analyzes the historical data of credit repayment which can be
either requested for from the customer or where available, third party credit
bureau information may be utilized. This information is used to determine the
customer’s intention to repay the loan. The underwriter may also use credit
scoring and behavioral scoring as a means to categorize customer risk levels.
Apart from reviewing the capacity and intention to repay, underwriters also play
the role of an advisory whereby they advise on refinancing existing liabilities,
help clearing out certain liabilities etc. so as to reduce the risk involved in new
credits, if extended.
Therefore, the objective of the underwriting process is to reduce the risk
associated with the proposed lending and structure it optimally by providing a
product mix that best suits the customer’s requirements and reduces the banks
exposure. After being approved by the underwriter, the application enters the
funding stage.
