Room: Salón Bergara
As a professional CEO, you shouldn’t forget about the IT department. Data security and safety is an important concern for everyone, who uses computers for their work. Losing precious data is almost like a disaster. And avoiding or minimizing this risk doesn’t have to be expensive. This presentation is a development of the last year’s session in Rome. After a short introduction into the topic and classification of the risks, we will focus on threetwo different practical solutions of data backup that you can implement in your (home) office. Each of them offers a different level of security, has different requirements, and is suitable for different scenarios, but they have a few characteristics in common – they’re free or non-expensive, easy to install and set up, and they run without disturbing the translator. NEW: The session will include a section about new storage media that should last for 100+ years.
