| Hi Nigel,
Wat goed dat je dit doet!
als je hulp nodig hebt met de organisatie, laat maar horen wat ik kan doen om te helpen.
Groeten, Titia

Great idea and I hope to be available.
However, would Friday and Saturday be a good idea instead of Saturday and Sunday?

Awesome! I just read this when I was attending the online Conference on Proz today.
The last time I was at a Proz.com conference, it was in London. Super event, I met many great professionals there. looking forward to do it all over again in my home country!!
|
Such a pity I'll be travelling to Rotterdam only in August... Would have loved to attend.
|
Thank you Nigel and Annet for an extremely succesful Proz. So for a first-timer I guess this was stepping in at the top!
Of course also thank you to the whole team and the speakers - and to the 'oldies' for making a 'newbe' feeling at ease - and to all the other colleagues for generally being open for discussion and chat!

I learned as much as I enjoyed! It was a great opportunity to meet more members of big PROZ family and it was a great idea to record all the sessions because we always had to choose one of two. Thanks a lot to the team and specially to Nigel. I’m right now spending a couple of days of holidays in Rotterdam. See you next year.

I really loved the conference. The venue was great, so was the food (as a vegetarian, this is not always the case, unfortunately). Interesting speakers and attendees and awesome social activity. The conference was really well-organized. Thanks, Nigel!

Very well organised event. Good spot in town, very nice to have the two top floors, and a good variety of topics.
Only thing (afaIk now) that you may please tell the hotel, Nigel, is that we did'nt appreciate the radio music that was often being played during sessions. Strange that they couldn't turn that off.

'Thank you for a great conference!

Very friendly and interesting conference and a good opportunity to visit Rotterdam. Thanks to the very competent organizers.

What an excellent opportunity to do some networking and learn a thing or two! I've been thinking about suggestions for improvements but apart from perhaps the workshop formula, which is sometimes strained, the organization was near-perfect and I'm very pleased I went! Thanks Nigel and everybody from the staff. -- Gabriella

Well, I would have never missed a conference organized by Nigel to start with! A great event to say the least. I would call this the "Smoked Salmon" conference, F&B wise, because indeed that is one of my favorite dishes and it was offered in abundance like bread and cheese, thus compensating for the fact that I do not eat pork and non halal meat. I enjoyed meeting my old friends and I gained really excellent great new ones as well. I enjoyed conversing with Jared of Proz.com and I really shared with him in a very open and frank manner a lot of issues. We simply had an excellent conversation and Jared is indeed an asset to Proz.com. Anette did a wonderful job, and I would say she asserted the famous proverb "behind every great man, a beautiful and supporting woman", so Annette you were indeed the wings beneath Nigel's wings. Top class event overall and see you soon in............., well who knows.

3rd International conference attended, and still the same enjoyable mix of fun & professionalism, both in the formal part and around the powwows - Thx Nigel & Co !

Thank you Nigel for a well organized conference. I enjoyed the boat tour to the windmills, the walking tour in Rotterdam, talking to old and new colleagues, the spicy Indonesian meal, the interesting sessions and presentations, and the gala dinner Saturday night with solo entertainer Sameh singing Dire Straits. Afterwards we went dancing at the Burlesque until four in the morning. Unfortunately I had to leave before the TransQuiz finished to catch my plane, but I think Ellen’s group won. It was a wonderful event and I had a great time!

Great conference. The speakers were very good and there was a lot of time to get to know the other attendees. I also loved that there were plenty other accomodation options near the conference hotel.
|
It was the first time that I have attanded the conference- and it was the first time that I have attanded an international conference. Maybe that is the reason why I was so exited (although I did not look very exited- had to finish a translation saturday night so could not go out with the others). Because I have new impressions, new ideas, other thoughts. From the speakers I liked Doug the most and yes, I can't wait to go to the conference in 2016.
|
Very good job, Nigel! Great venue, great sessions, great activities. I learned a lot and renewed contact with many.
|
Thank you for a great conference, Nigel. Very well organized and very interesting!
|
Thanks Nigel. Great conference. Excellent organisation and the social events were fantastic.
|
It was a great conference. Thank you Nigel!

Thanks Nigel and all those who made this great conference possible! It was my first Proz.com conference and I really enjoyed it. Even though I came there alone and not knowing anyone I felt at my ease, got acquainted with a lot of colleagues and learnt a lot of new things. I especially appreciated the perfect organization: everything went as it had been planned, all sessions on time, no waste of time. I've attended other international conferences in the past and I know that it's not always so. I also liked the location. And the last but not the least, social events were great!
|
I attended the comference because of Nigel in the first place, but it was well worth it because of all the speakers' sessions! I loved Netherlands, I met old and new friends, and learned new things. Well done, Nigel!
|
Thanks Nigel for a really good conference! Very interesting and useful presentations, a great atmosphere and lots of nice and interesting colleagues to meet. Looking forward to the next one!
|
Very good conference. I liked the food (as the salmon), social events... very good speakers as Sameh and Hans... Some details are important to remember, as the excellent view from the main room. We did have an open view and a very impressive one, thanks Nigel! And the Erasmus bridge was also very special for me, not only due to the beauty of the structure -spectacular- but due to the Erasmus figure, a scholar who helped so much in the Bible translation because of his study of the Biblical Greek (koine): it was an excellent background for a translation conference! :)
|
I agree with my colleagues and would add some aspects. The venue was excellent, the great view in the conference rooms was very refreshing, thanks Nigel!
