Hello, all!

I would like to know if Across translation memories can be exported as *.tmx in order to be leveraged by other CAT tools users. (Or, can Across TM be exported somehow?)

I'm browsing Across Web site but I do not find the info there (

Thanks for your input.

Editing to update my Web search. I've just found the following info

Terminology created with Across can be exported in the TBX and CSV formats, and the translation memory can be exported in the TMX format.
Information on importing translation memories and terminology to Across is available in chapters 5.2 and 6.1 in the step-by-step instructions.

Thus my new question would be: Is the export process easy? Have you tried it?

Thanks again

in my answer, I am assuming that the other translators you are referring to do not have across. If the other translators have across, let me know because than it can be done in a different manner.

Here we go:

When you select the CrossTank Manager and start to export, in the Wizard, you are you are presented with two options for the TMX export:

"TMX Export" and the checkbox below has the Option "TMX Export for Translation Memory Exchange with other CAT Tools".

Use this second option, to export the TMX file in a fashion to allow the import and use in other CAT tools.
