Hello all,
Do you think it's possible to install across on xp sp3, 1 gb ram,pentium,(no multicore) plenty of space on hard disc?
Are there old versions for old pc's?

Before I try to install it on my laptop (I've heard that installer can crash computer), I'd like to try across on my old pc, just to see if I like it at all.

Thank you Michael.

I wasn't even aware that there could be problems with service pack 3.

I was just worried about old processor and not enough ram on my pc. It doesn't seem to be very simple to install. Perhaps I'll continue to use OmegaT, it works fine everywhere.

I would suggest you to contact Across if you have problems, they are very helpful and the most supportive customer care I have ever seen. I had problems myself to install Across on one of my machines, they called me and followed me step by step.

I've installed it both on my Desktop (Athlon 2400) and on my Laptop (Pentium III), both with XP SP3 and 1 GB RAM. Worked.
