Hello everyone,

I have installed the Across version for freelance translators and I recently learned that there's a translation unit limit in the standalone version. What's the limit? How many gygabites? How do I know when "my" Across reaches this limit?

I am sure this has been discussed before. I have tried to look for it but failed to do so.

Thanks in advance.

Oscar.

No Across limit, but MS SQL Express limit Jun 7, 2012

Across freelance edition uses free MS SQL Server Express, for which database size limit is 4GB.

Good question...
Try to search for *across.mdf files in subfolders of "C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\" (or something like that). There should be three files: for Across, for crossTank and for crossTerm. Their size is what you are interested in.
