My daughter has accidentally deleted a photo shoot from her Mac. I have seen on Google that there are data recovery programs that promise to retrieve your data, photos etc. Has anyone used one of these? Can anyone recommend something that might work?

Hope someone can help!
Mary

Check the basket Dec 9, 2013

Usually things that are cancelled are in the basket. Unless the basket has been emptied they are probably still there!

Sorry to hear that. Dec 11, 2013

She should stop working on her Mac right away and call the help of a pro. If she continues to work on the Mac, it will be almost impossible to recover the photo shoot. (New files can overwrite the pictures.)

Perhaps this can help her:

(also for other files)
