Is anyone aware of a standard set of markups for proofreading Arabic text? I am editing an Arabic language learning book which contains English and Arabic text. We use the typical English proofreader's marks as in the Chicago Manual of Style, but I cannot find something similar for the Arabic text. Any help is appreciated.
