Can anyone explain this Egyptian law, and what the best translation in English is? It's in a sales contract for a property purchase. Many thanks

Hello mbrodie,
Some people here may not have seen the same question you posted on Kudoz, so it would have been only fair if you had referred to that question (http://www.proz.com/kudoz/954933), and the answers you received there, particularly Aisha's. Also, it was pointed out (by me) that "qanwn al-ksb al-gir" is not the complete name of the law (قانون الكسب غير المشروع Qanun al-kasb ghayr al-mashru', or, incorrectly, Qanun al-kasb al-ghayr mashru'). You seem to have completely ignored all that... Anyway, I hope someone can help you with your question.
Nesrin
