كل عام وأنتم بخير
في مقالات الجرائد والمجالات التي تتكون أغلبها من حوار
تبدأ المقاطع في العربية عدة بالأفعال: يقول ، يشير، يضيف
أما في الانجليزية فأحول الخطاب إلى الأسلوب المباشر، حيث أقوم بترجمة النص الحواري في البدء أي ما قيل أو ما أشير إليه أو ما أضيف ثم
Mr.... said, adds,....
وخاصة عندما يكون هناك تعريف طويل عن هذا المستر أقصد هذا المتحدث وطبيعة عمله
هل هناك قاعدة أو أسلوب متعارف عليه يحكم ذلك؟

لا أعتقد أنه من المقبول أن يقوم المترجم بتحويل الحديث غير المباشر إلى حديث مباشر. فالحديث غير المباشر كثيرا ما يكون ملخصا لما قاله المتحدث، أما الحديث المباشر فلا بد أن يكون نصا حرفيا دقيقا لما قاله.
أما عن وضع الفعل في الجملة الإنجليزية، فلا مانع على الإطلاق من أن نبدأ الجملة بـ
Mr. so-and-so stated
أو أن ننهيها بـ
..., said Mr. so-and-so
كما هو مبين في المقطع أدناه، وهو مأخوذ من خبر منشور اليوم على موقع أخبار البي بي سي:

Mr Roy said 15 people had been arrested, and that some of the bombers had received training in Pakistan.

He said the bombs were made using a total of 15-20kg of an explosive called RDX, which was smuggled into the country and packed into seven pressure cookers.

Timers were attached to the bombs, which were put into bags and concealed using newspapers and umbrellas, he said.

He said 11 Pakistanis were involved in the operation, and had crossed into India in small groups from Pakistan, Nepal and Bangladesh.
