I would remind all that each one could send help to Haiti in any way they see fit (through Red Cross is a good idea I guess...).

Congratulations to all those who are helping in any way they can, especially to the medical staff that flew over there to help the survivors.

For those who want to help the animal victims Jan 15, 2010

https://donate.wspa.org.uk/form.asp?id=1282

"The World Society for the Protection of Animals (WSPA) is currently responding to the earthquake in Haiti. The toll that this earthquake has taken on Haiti is enormous and our hearts and thoughts are with the survivors during this time of devastation. WSPA is poised to work alongside the humanitarian aid groups to help the animals that people so desperately rely on in this impoverished country. We have a fully equipped mobile clinic from which we will be able to treat injured animals, vaccinate against disease and distribute feed. Please help us bring relief to animals at this time of urgent need. Please give as generously as you can today."

Church Aid Jan 15, 2010

Of course, every channel is good, the main thing is to help Haiti as soon as possible.

Red Cross has a big organisation which requires a lot of money for the organisation itself. That's why the best way, IMHO, is to send money through the Church Aid, at least in Finland:

I'm sure other countries have a similar system of Church Aid.

useful link Jan 15, 2010

Who are interested might post the information (including image) about persons missing in Haiti at http://www.scribd.com/haiti
In the situation of total havoc it might turn out useful.
