It should be of utmost interest for outsourcers, to see how important it is to pay on time!!

How do I get paid on time Jan 1, 2004

Well, One of the agencies I was working for, informed me that they had undergone a common agreement, to pay only completing 60 days, after completion& delivery and after invoicing. So I said alternative - produce the invoice as soon as you get the order. Demand a retainer of 20% on acceptance, + 40% on delivery and the rest as on due. Well the agency didn´t want to bite, but finally everything went ok, as I had to argue, the outsourcer must go to another (agency) outsourcer to get the work done, and not to the translator.
Try it, it had worked in my case.
