A friend brought my attention to the fact that I - along with a long list of names - are listed on http://www.smartguru.com/ OR http://www.smartguru.com/punjabi_alphabet_translation/free-website-translation-scandinavian.html as a free website translator (as far as I can ascertain from the page...).
I have not been in contact with "smartguru" or anything listed on there, but the details they list seem to be my "tag line" from Proz.
I failed to find the contact information so I could call or email the owner of the website and ask to be removed. Have anyone else had a similar problem - and succeed in contacting "smartguru" and removing their offer of free translation services?

I wouldn't be overly concerned. This website is useless. There are no URL's to link to anything else. Whoever wrote this site didn't know what they were doing. There is no URL for you either. Also, it is not clear what is free and what is not.
Having said that, if they were to provide links, you would be getting free publicity, which you could capitalize on.

I am not overly concerned (esp. after looking at the website in more detail), but on the other hand not very interested in having my name listed on a website that a) offers my services for free (although without any real contact details) and b) is obviously very unprofessional.
