I’m sick and tired of the deteriorating quality of translations of Czech and Slovak government websites. I don’t know how “translators” have the nerve to submit such dross, how the agencies have the audacity to deliver it, and how the government institutions are so naïve (or are they just forced to jump through “best-value” public procurement hoops?) as to publish it. I know this is another “peanuts” post, but surely it’s not too much to expect quality improvements (or even stagnation) over time. Is it the same elsewhere? Sunday-morning rant over.
