Hello,

I'm new to this and I've checked the forum list but couldn't find exactly what I'd need.

I work for a translation agency and we are just starting to get our feet wet in website localization.

I am wondering how one quotes on website localization projects and what things we should consider. We would be quoting on source files provided by the client, (not from downloading the site).

More precisely, what should be included in the quote and what would the costs be (I'm not looking for exact costs, maybe just ratios).

ex:
- word counts (and tools needed to count)
- localizing graphics
- proofing the site after it's uploaded
- site testing
- how many revisions to the site before we start charging
- other ??

Thank you to all for your replies in advance!!
