This Portal provides information and services to assist Europe\'s citizens and enterprises carry out cross-border activities.

For example, citizens who wish to move to, or enterprises that would like to establish a subsidiary in, another European country.

Since we regularly cross borders (virtual crossings included), the available information on e.g. VAT and tax issues should be of interest to quite a few of us.

Currently the Portal is in its pilot phase. It will be regularly updated with content provided by the European Commission and by the pioneering Member States participating in the pilot: Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, Spain, and Sweden.

It is planned, in the near future, to provide information from all EU Member States, as well as from EEA and EU Candidate Countries.
