On the German mailing list Zahlungspraxis (zahlungspraxis@yahoogroups.de), \'Tanja\' has posted a very interesting link:

This website has an online solution for pursuing reluctant payers in Germany (\"Mahnbescheid online\").

I have not tried it yet myself but it\'s definitely interesting for those of you who do not live in Germany.

Best regards

Might become handy one day (even if do not hope so ;-) Dec 8, 2002

Thanks for the link.

But why only for people living outside Germany? Time is money.... so why should I go to the next shop when I could do it via Internet )

The online solution needs a card reader, digital signature, software (40 MB!) etc.
Too much for 1 or 2 incidents a year.
What happens if the delinquent customer appeals - and that happens in more than 75% of all cases? Then you go again thru the treadmill of collectors or lawyers.
You are better of with a professional collector like D&B.
