Hi everyone,

I have looked in all the menus and sub-menus of Cafetran, checked the shortcut list, and Googled the world! But I can't find the "lock segment" command in Cafetran.

Thanks for pointing me into the right direction without rolling your eyeballs

Julie

Checked segment Jun 30, 2016

Hi Julie,

Depending on what you need to do with the locked segments, you might use the "Checked segment" command to, say, filter out the "checked/locked segments" and exclude them from the view. Currently, CafeTran does not differentiate between locked and checked segments.

Where is the "lock segment" command? Jun 30, 2016

Thanks Igor,

I want to lock the segment so that I don't unintentionally edit the target once translated in a certain way. Or prevent Cafetran to, for instance, propagate something into the target from a 100% match (but only for that particular segment), etc. Hope this makes sense.

Basically, I want to make the translated segment idiot proof.

Julie
