Solution to harvest alternative translations from DeepL

DeepL et al. harvest from our intellectual labour, so it's only fair that we harvest from DeepL.

Since there obviously is no way to get the valuable alternative translations via the API, we looked for a way to get them from the browser. Here's a Keyboard Maestro macro that calls a JavaScript that puts both the source term, target term and alternative translations on the system clipboard of your Mac, including the tab character to separate source and target.

From here you can write the clipboard content to your glossary (or, with a modification, to your TM):

When working on Windows, you have to embed the JavaScript in an AutoHotkey macro.
