I have heard much about logoport but I have never used it.
Does anyone have experience with this platform?
How is there the copyright question solved?

Hola Felipe,

I have not personally used it, frankly I don't like the sound of it at all, but this previous thread may give you some idea to start with:

Thank you John Paul Aug 28, 2008

The thread is very, very interesting.
There is also a very useful remark about word count and fuzzy count.

I can imagine that many agencies used this trick not only in Logoport but with other tools as well.

Lionbridge Aug 29, 2008

Lionbridge uses this. I used it on and off for a year or so and found it to be even worse than Trados. It will only work in certain versions of Word, there was a constant nagging about macros, it messed up the toolbars in Word and you never get to keep any TM's as a reference for future jobs (you never even get to check that the word count is correct, so you may end up losing money). Logoport is also terribly slow and I found that I spent twice as long on a job simply because I had to wait for the server to respond.

I try my best to avoid Logoport at all times.
