Is there any way of searching for a word or term in ALL of the sticky notes one has included in a pdf file? If so how is this done?

Hi George Jul 9, 2009

Please open your PDF, go to View > Show comments list.

All comments in the document will be listed in the bottom part of the page, and at the toolbar above them you will see various icons, including 'Search'. Using this button would allow you searching the comments.

HTH,
Natalia
P.S. I assume you have the full version of Acrobat.

only file based scanned .pdfs ... Jul 9, 2009

Hi! page scans need be converted into editable files while not losing the format( if that is important) or one could do it directly in ms-word or even in a notepad. At least two processess are involved before reaching that stage, OCR and Copy editing to get to a fully editable file. BTW there is a tool called infix to process file based .pdfs directly, while not losing the format and enable further processing. BR Brandis
