This must be a pattern when upgrading.

Looking at my MultiTerm glossaries, I have some language entries in
there that I'd really like to globally search and remove.

For example:
there are Finnish and Hungarian entries that start a line with
or as in

slk;lj;ophoink
ohopignpongopo

What I'd like to do is call the glossary up in Word and do a global
search and replace to replace all text including the or to
the end of the line with blank space.

Does anyone know how to write the search string to do this and
replace the line with {BLANK}

Thanks,

Harold

Here's how to do it... Jul 8, 2006

1. Put the following into the search field in (find and replace)

\{FI\}[!^013]@^013

(Im using ellipses for bigger and smaller signs). The line says: "find anything that begins on {FI} and ends with a hard break"

2. check the "use wild-cards" - or whatever it is called in English (the third checkbox from the top in search options).

3. Start global search and replace

I'd do it by not including FI and HU in the new dictionary from the start...
