Dear colleagues,

On my current project, I work with trados 7 freelance and have to work with tageditor using .inx files;
I am unable to open them;

when I open Tageditor >> open >> then choose the INX folder, it does not find the inx files;
when I select "all files" in the drop down menu, it does find it but when I try to open it, it asks for specifying the DTD settings.

My client did specify that I needed version 7.1 or higher to avoid problems in converting the .inx files, but both the trial download of the current trados version and my efforts to purchase an upgrade failed.

My client did send help me with a procedure where he used the Worldserver platform to create a translation kit that will work with my version of Trados/Tag editor;

But after applying the necessary modifications to my TM, I still cannot work with the .inx files; when I get to step to import, I cannot import the idiom.tmx file as it is not recognized; in the "open import file" window there is nothing displayed.

Thanks for your help!

Laurens Landkroon.

Problem solved!!
No need for your input!!
