遇到了很差的翻译/审稿,该怎么办?

最近遇到几个很烂的非中文翻译, 几个文件都得重新做。

这样还需要给翻译付费吗?

翻译可不会认为他自己做得烂,每个翻译除非遇上了有权力的人,他才会表示客气,否则一个个都是自信满满的呢。所以,你既然敢用他/她翻译,无论做出来的是怎样的东西,该付的钱还是得付,下次不用他/她不就得了?

我如果第一次遇到很差的翻译或校对,还是付全费,认了,也省得说来说去浪费时间,但是以后再也不用他了。

终于又谈翻译了 Apr 17, 2008

如果先前说好翻译这份文件就付多少多少的话,还是要付的吧.除非有签约说质量不好要扣钱.

我认为一样. 这种东西只能自认倒霉. IMHO you have to honor the contract. The only thing you can do is learn from experience - be more selective of whom you work with the next time. icon_smile.gif

我认为一样. 这种东西只能自认倒霉. IMHO you have to honor the contract. The only thing you can do is learn from experience - be more selective of whom you work with the next time. icon_smile.gif



我们的协议里提出了明确的质量标准,虽然每人的质量不会像刀切的一样齐,但总是有一个可接受的标准。目前的问题是,这几个人的翻译,没有人愿意做REVIEW,除非我支付的费用是翻译+REVIEW, 才有人肯接手,也就是说需要从头来, FROM THE SCRATCH

现在是翻译违约在先。

但我要求她们”USE THIS EMAIL IN LIEU OF A PO,because it contains all information about my company, the project, and terms and conditions".

They have all agreed with this idea.

浪费了我很多时间。我的时间她们浪费得起吗?而且耽误了交稿期限,我不得不求着客户让我利用周末再重新来过。而且重新来过的时间太紧了,做出来的质量也许还会不满意。那么如果我的客户是翻译公司,我提交很差的译文或耽误了时间,人家肯定不付费给我。

做AGANCY的不能让两边压制,好不好。

那是. 协议里有质量标准就 另当别论了. 试想靠机器翻一下就交个差怎么对付啊? 看看有经验的人遇上类似情况是怎么处理的.

所以我说,给点就行了。他们要是到篮板上给你记一分,你可以在篮板上写清楚你没有付全额的原因,咱不怕他们。

跟她们说明状况,然后看她们愿意/能减多少.大家退一步.她们自己也应该清楚质量有问题,应该让一步,给些折扣.

p/s下次记得在邮件里注明质量价格的影响.
