Nov 14, 2007

Nov 17, 2007

I just tried some, and didn't like it too much. I would say it had an "earthy" flavor, to borrow a term wine connoisseurs like to use, and more importantly, to be diplomatic

Now I remember why the tin had been sittin' in the cupboard for all these years, ignored like a box of rice in an average American household. I bought it in the '80s from a tea shop in Chinatown on a trip to Manhattan.

The tea might have some medicinal properties as described on the tin, but other than that, to my tastebuds it's overrated.

Advertisment Dec 2, 2007

Did you guys notice the CIA ad at the top of the page recruiting foreign language instructors?

It sounds like an interesting job except you need to move to Washington, D.C. - plus all the bureaucratic nonsense like security clearance they make you go through.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

p.s. The ad disappeared as soon as I made mention of it. You can't offer free advertising over here - not even to the U. S. Government.

But I think they'll intermittently keep putting it up.
