以下情況怎樣處理?

我剛接到一份要校對的文件,但翻譯員將内容譯成口語化,差不多要將整份重譯一次?
口語化的内容沒有標準,沒有修改的空間?我應如何處理?

将这种情况告知客户,问客户有什么意见。因为稿子如果非正式使用,只是传递一下其中意思,就不用费神重新弄一次。

客戶答覆了,因為內容是電話訪問,可能這樣客戶認為文字也應該是口語化,
但簡體字的譯本又不是口語化,她好像不太理會,態度也不好,她說:『您喜歡怎樣改就怎樣改』?
所以我還是不作更改了﹗看來她不想和我做生意了﹗
你們多將一些對話式也譯成口語化嗎?
例如:會議記錄、訪問、字幕等﹗

如果原文口语化,就没有必要写得文绉绉的。

不是原文的問題﹗ Mar 30, 2009

問題就是簡體譯文不是,繁體譯文卻要保留用口語化,有些混亂﹗
但提出問題後,她說任由我的方法﹗倒怕到了真正客戶的手,又不是他們想要的﹗

因為這類文字的原文就是口語﹐譯文出來自然就是口語了。

Here's an example. Mar 30, 2009

Source: Good morning/afternoon. My name is XXX from company xxx and we are conducting a survey on behalf of xxx......

Translator 1 (Simplified Chinese): 您好!我是xxx 来自xxx公司,我们正在为xxx 做一项客户访问......
Translator 2 (Traditional Chinese): 你好! 我係xxx , 係xxx公司嘅訪問員,我哋宜家幫xxx做緊一項調查……

Proofreader (Traditional Chinese): 早晨/午安。本人是xxx公司的調查員,現正為xxx進行一項問卷調查……

我的問題就是在translator 2, 在對話中是沒有問題,但是很少會出現在文字上的問卷調查﹗

而且在字幕中也很少會出現,尤其是這些字『係』、『我哋』、『而家』、『嘅』等等……

你应该问客户繁体中文的目标市场是什么 Mar 30, 2009

如PK叔所说,这里广东话,你问问客户是面向哪些市场的?如果是香港市场,那就没有问题。

如果只限電話訪問員……不發給公眾,問題也不大,但有機會是給被訪者填寫,香港市場也很少會用廣東話式的文字﹗

通常有幾種情況 Mar 30, 2009

在香港,甚至在廣州地區,如果是廣東話電台、電視台的台詞、讀稿和廣告稿,是會要求用廣東話翻譯出來,這就用 『係』、『嘅』、『哋』,而不用『是』、『的』這些標準漢語。而所謂『口語』化,可能是要求譯出來的東西,就好像日常說話用的淺白、簡單語言,但不一定是指廣東話。至於用在電話上的調查問卷,一般仍用標準漢語翻譯出來,而任由做電話訪問的調查員,用廣東音去讀出,或用廣東話去進行訪問。雖然,可以說是要看顧客的要求,但是顧客不一定分清楚,什麼是漢語(文字),普通話(語言),用廣東音去讀漢語,用漢語文字去寫廣東話的分別。除非是要求用廣東話翻譯,一般是不會用『係』、『嘅』、『哋』,況且,有一些廣東話字是中文軟件沒有的。
