Hi folks,

I don't need a translation, but can someone just look at this and tell me in which order the characters are read? I'm guessing top-to-bottom, left-to-right?

Thanks!

Steve

your usual way of reading Jun 7, 2009

Just like the way you read an English Article.

It is an ancient Chinese poem.

Many versions of translation for your reference.

There is one Chinese character that is wrong. Since you know Japanese, you probably can find it.

Yes, read from top to bottom, left to right Jun 7, 2009

It is not a poem written by the Poet Libai. I am wondering where you found this poem which is slightly different from the correct one as below:

独坐敬亭山

作者: 李白

众鸟高飞尽,孤云独去闲。
相看两不厌,只有敬亭山。
