大陆朋友有没有用招行visa双币卡在欧洲网站上成功购物的经历?
这段时间Atril在促销,我想利用这个机会把Deja Vu升级一下,昨天用招行Visa双币卡时发现atril参加了visa验证,于是昨天我开通了Visa验证服务和信用卡网上交易。据招行客服说visa验证隔天就能生效,但过了24小时,今天尝试还是不行:从atril的购物页面一步一步填下去,转到招行页面后,没有出现我预留的个人化信息,只出现一个密码方框,输入密码后,网页不断刷新,最后是一张白纸。于是再打电话问客服,客服说没有交易记录。我又问是不是双币卡不能在欧洲网站购物,客服肯定地说可以的。此外,Visa验证服务隔天生效,并非指隔一个工作日。我再问,欧元是否可以?客户也说可以的。现在我很纳闷,为什么就是刷不成呢?

You might want to check and make sure that the "密码" you have entered is the correct one. Most of the times they are not asking for the PIN - the one you use at ATMs(Automated Teller Machines) to withdraw cash. Instead they are looking for the Card Security Code(CSC).

The above wikipedia page gives a couple of examples as to where to locate the CSC on a credit card. For Visa, most of the times it's printed right on the magnetic strip on the back of the card. It's the 3 (or 4) digits following your credit card number.

谢谢。CSC一开始就填写了,Atril的网站上写的是security code,上面还有注解,那意思就是你说的CSC。我说的那个密码是最后一页出现的,即出现招行中文页面时,这个密码其实是查询密码,我已经跟客服确认过了。只有在那些有Visa验证服务的网站上才会要求你填写这个密码。但我还是觉得这个网页有些问题,因为它没有出现我预留在银行的个人化信息。客服让我换个时段再试。除了半夜,其他时间我都试过了,还是不行。去年我用这张卡在Trados的网站上成功消费过,当时没有Visa验证服务,输入卡号和security code等,就完成了。

对, Visa's Verified by Visa 应该就是你的 PIN. 我们这里一般给了 Credit Card Number, CSC, Card Expiration Date, Name and Address 之后, Click on "make payment" 就完事了.

听起来还是招行方面的问题.

刚去 Atril 网站逛了一下, 他们付款一页上也有 "Verified by Visa" 的 logo. 欧方似乎是没什么问题的.

Well, maybe not.

Their customer interface indeed seems pretty slipshod. I tried to order from the U.S., and all I get is the following message that doesn't redirect as it says:

Thank you for your interest in Déjà Vu X.
You will be redirected to the Déjà Vu X distributor on your country.



Try emailing them and see what happens ...

今天又尝试付款,输入密码后,网页自动刷新无数次后,出现这么一个信息:

“/Visa”应用程序中的服务器错误。

好像美国的distributor撤销了 Jan 11, 2010

很久以前是有的。现在给atril写email,要好久才得到答复。这点跟Trados很不一样。其实Deja Vu比Trados好用,但他们的推广没有Trados做得好。

依我看, 关键一句是 " Visa应用程序中的服务器错误。", meaning there were errors while running the software installed on the merchant server ...


A new level of confidence when they shop online: At checkout, software installed on the merchant server recognizes the Visa card and prompts a password entry field to appear. Consumers enter their Verified by Visa password, the password is verified and the transaction completes.


再往下的所有其它字体都是提示 Atril 方面如何设置网页以便在远程(具体指中国方面)计算机上看到详细错误信息(verbose), 其目的当然是为了找出问题(debug).

So I think the error message points to the problem being on Atril's side.

Well, even if it wasn't, and the problem was on the bank's side, the debug process in all likelihood would still need to be set up by a merchant - ideally remotely located in Europe.

Another thing you could do is to email Atril with your order(without your credit card information just to be safe). That way they may get back to you sooner.

Remember the smiley face ? If you use the Chinese font colon ":" and the Chinese font closing parenthesis ")", the smiley doesn't quite display right ":)"

I wonder if there are similar odd effects with alphanumeric characters? If your PIN were made up of alphanumeric characters, would the font you used had made any difference?

I know it's a long shot - the English characters all look exactly the same in the forum.

我想您说的是全角、半角的问题吧?这个我很注意的,肯定都是英文半角。

就是. 你不说我还不知道中文有全角、半角之分. 以前间或看到一些中文文章里夹杂着少许英文词句, 字母之间间隔很大. 现在想想是由于用的是全角排版, 因此英文排出来很不美观. 不仅如此, 往往单词都拼得不对.

今天做一个小结,把这个thread结束掉。

话说听了Steve的建议,给atril sales去函说明付款之不易以及error message等等。atril sales答复挺快,第二天更是附上了WorldPay工程师的回复,意思是问题出在我这边的银行,是3D secure page having difficulty returning responses to WorldPay。

我一边自己找境外的朋友替我代买升级,一边打电话给招行报告我的发现。昨天,招行打电话来,让我做个screenshot交给网上客服,于是我又照办。今天下午两点,招行通过电邮告诉我,他们的服务器一切照常,并列出了许许多多可能的情况。我一一对照,唯一不敢肯定的就是这条:“若相关栏位未正常显示可能也会由于个人电脑的防火墙或杀毒软件有屏蔽所致,请您可以留意一下。”

反正升级也办好了,俺不想留意了!!!

Merchants

The advantage for merchants is the reduction of "unauthorized transaction" chargebacks. The disadvantage for merchants is that they have to purchase MPI to connect to the Visa/MasterCard Directory Server. This is expensive (setup fee, monthly fee and per-transaction fee); at the same time it represents additional revenue for MPI providers. Supporting 3-D Secure is complicated and, at times, creates transaction failures.


Buyers/credit card holders

The main advantage for cardholders is that there is a decreased risk of other people being able to use their payment cards fraudulently on the Internet.

In most current implementations of 3-D Secure, the issuing bank or its ACS provider prompts the buyer for a password that is known only to the bank/ACS provider and the buyer. Since the merchant does not know this password and is not responsible for capturing it, it can be used by the issuing bank as evidence that the purchaser is indeed their cardholder. This decreases risk in two ways:

1. Copying card details, either by writing down the numbers on the card itself or by way of modified terminals or ATMs, does not result in the ability to purchase over the Internet because of the additional password, which is not stored on or written on the card.
2. Since the merchant does not capture the password, there is a reduced risk from security incidents at online merchants; while an incident may still result in hackers obtaining other card details, there is no way for them to get the associated password.



Zhoudan,

The response from the WorldPay technical staff sounds reasonable to me. WorldPay must be what is called the MPI (merchant plug-in) provider for Atril.

Anyway, it must be frustrating if you can't even use your own credit card to complete an online purchase.
