outdragon: what is its meaning?

i can't find it in any dictionary, thanks for help.

example: St. George out-dragons the dragon.

在字面上有這個意思。

意思是﹕St. George 比起凶猛的龍來得勇猛。

今天才注意到你是五六年前提出龙应翻为 loong 的黄先生，时间过得真快。

To outdo means to surpass in execution or performance. For example, The chef outdid himself last night.

Similarly, the word outfox means to outwit or outmaneuver …

Out-dragon is not a word one would likely find in a dictionary. It is the sort of usage that patterns itself after "outfox". Just like "fox", "dragon" in this instance becomes a transitive verb. Out-dragon basically means to take on the characteristics of the dragon, and in addition to surpass someone or something in those characteristics.
