字面意思不难理解，kingmaker这个词的意思也很简单。
但我觉得这里作者是在说开发人员的重要性，所以适当处理了一下，处理成了“开发为王”。
当然，应该有更合适的表达法。

又仔细想了一下，您说的成王的是采用他们的企业，感觉并非如此。
成王的应该是开发人员开发出来，在市场上很成功的business offerings，包括产品或服务，而不是企业。

汉语中向来有“成者王侯败者寇”的说法，由此延伸开来，可否翻译为：“开发决定成败”？
