我在上星期六接到韓國一翻譯公司的一個工作,說是讓我開始工作,他會在第二天寄訂單過來。但在星期天沒來過郵件,于是我在星期一發郵件過去詢問也沒回應。如果到明天還沒回覆,估計可能跑單了。那我兩天工作不是白幹了嗎。

我碰到过类似情况,现在我再也不去理会他们的POST了!

咱們有這麼個說法:林子大,什麼鳥都有. 翻譯的行業裡千奇百怪,當然也是什麼公司或人都有. 依我個人經驗, 與我合作的韓國公司倒都是很可靠的, 從來不拆爛污. 在中國我也遇上過不同心態的翻譯業者, 只差沒被先考個對聯罷了.) 選擇工作機會其實也是需要經驗判斷的, 有些人一接觸就可斷定合作不能暢順, 主要是雙方對翻譯這行業的理念不合, 有一方屬於吹毛求疵傾向者,要不然就是付款的道德可能有問題, 那最好還是不要嘗試, 留點時間給自己找穩當的差事做. Mark 說 "现在我再也不去理会他们的POST了", 就是那個意思, 因為縱使真付款了也會是很浪費時間的一回事.

我還真不知道那業者是怎麼個心態呢。今天早上才回覆發來PO。因為交稿日期很緊,加上發來的文檔本身有問題,保存退出後重新打開WORD就會死掉,花了半天才擺平。我就要求延長時間,卻又半天不見回覆了。碰到這種業者也是自認倒楣。做了一半就此罷休又不甘心。看來我得想其他辦法跟他理論了。
