应激还是紧张？关于stress reaction的翻译

对stress reaction,国内一般都翻译成应激反应，许多英汉词典也都如此翻译，但我一看到这个词，一般都将其翻译成紧张反应。

按原英文词典的解释， stress reaction就是an acute emotional reaction to physical or psychological stress.

对stress reaction,国内一般都翻译成应激反应，许多英汉词典也都如此翻译，但我一看到这个词，一般都将其翻译成紧张反应。

按原英文词典的解释， stress reaction就是an acute emotional reaction to physical or psychological stress.

即一种对身体或心理紧张的情绪反应。也就是说这个词是讲情绪、感情上的东西，是宏观性的，带有被动、不良的因素；而不是精神上或微观上的。
从中文字面上来理解，“紧张”属于情绪的范畴，而“应激”使人想起精神因素。一个人面对紧急情况或压力，精神上可有多种反应，比如积极的、消极的、乐观的、悲观的等等，这就是应激的内涵。

如此可以看出，stress reaction翻译成紧张反应很传神，恰如其分，但如果翻译成应激反应就很牵强。

至于有人说分子细胞水平上也用stress reaction这个词，那是使用它的引申义。 ▲ Collapse
