我想贴的是法国解放报对中国游客在法国的有关报导，专门开一栏又不值得，所以取了个概括性标题，欢迎大家陆续贴有关报导。

《中国游客在巴黎：脚不停歇，勇于解囊》
解放报在显著位置介绍了中国游客在巴黎的情况。文章说，巴西、俄罗斯、印度和中国，是法国旅游业现在要重点吸引的客源地。2004年，欧洲国家共向中国游客核准、签发了70.5万个签证。法国、意大利和瑞士是中国游客最喜欢的旅游地。中国游客在巴黎平均只停留1天半的时间，在这短短的时间内，要走完一条中国游客在巴黎的经典旅游路线，这就是：卢浮宫、艾菲尔铁塔、春天或老佛爷百货商店、以及红磨坊舞蹈表演。
春天百货公司国际部负责人表示，中国游客现在的购物开销与日本游客不差上下。春天百货公司刚刚为亚洲客户专门开辟了一个购物区，在这个区域，顾客可以直接用中国信用卡购物。中国顾客每人在春天百货公司的平均消费是500欧元，春天百货公司的四分之一的外国顾客都是中国人。
西方有一份调查报告显示，中国人的旅游预算在世界上名列前茅。2003到2005年间，中国人在国外购买免税商品的花费增长了41％。中国现有600个旅行社有权组织境外旅游。而十年前则只有67个。法国旅游机构“法国之家”认为，不出十年，中国可能就会成为法国旅游业的第二大客源国，届时中国游客人数将达到100万。相关内容占了解放报第二页和第三页两大页的篇幅。

好好工作攒点儿钱，随时都可以来。
从手续上看，参加组团比较方便, 网上也可以查到一些已经来过游客的体会和实用信息。

On this morning's Today Show, while showing a nighttime birdseye view of Changan Jie in Beijing and commenting on the Olympics being held here 2 years from now in 2008, one of the co-hosts Matt Lauer says,
"As a matter of fact, the pronunciation of the number eight in Mandarin is the same as the word fortune."
Reminds me of the embarrassment when they announced the Chinese anthem as the national anth... 除非是广东人, "发"和"八"的发音还是有区别的.
One time he was doing his yearly segment of "Where in the world is Matt Lauer" and travelling around the world. Standing at the top of the Great Wall, he goes, "The Great Wall extends west all the way to the west coast of China..."

另外，计划中，如果2014年的世界杯有机会买到门票的话(2010在南非，太麻烦了，听说南非治安也不好)，也打算去看，呵呵

前几年888888的车牌和电话号码等在国内要价很高呢。自从中国要富强以来，向香港台湾学了不少“发财之道”，烧香念佛也是发财之道之一

干脆搞些足球旅游路线，除了参观当地景点，还可以观看世界杯、欧洲杯，或者能安排观看一些名球队练球也可以，这样机会多一些。

That I did get from Parrot's previous thread of "A question about the number 14". But I still thought it was limited to Guangdong and Hong Kong where they speak the dialect and actually pronounce it that way.
Please don't tell me they go 一二三四五六七发九十 in Beijing these days

Some people may not be aware that, in Shanghai dialect, 888 sounds like 不不不 (i.e., No No No)！:D

In some Chinese dialects, 888 sounds like 罢罢罢 (i.e., it's over or finished)! Probably, that means the end of a corrupted official, doesn't it?
