Hi there, do you know any e-learning method to start with Chinese language? I mean something serious and with good results.
Thanks,

I guess, there will be other colleagues who can give you right tips for learning how to read Chinese. However, I would like you visit a website:

http://www.paen.net/learning/enzh/

They are doing exactly the other way round --- they teach Chinese speaking persons how to speak English. Though it is the other way round, you can get used to Chinese language by listening to their lessons.

Just wait for a while and there will be some ones who can tip you off with e-learning Chinese. Maybe you shall tell the colleagues more about your expectations, then they might be able to help you in a right way.

Buena suerte!

This is a good site Oct 12, 2006

Hi,

Try http://www.chinesepod.com You can study online and you can also download the lessons to an Ipod or your MP3 player so you can study on the move.

The levels go from newbie right up to advanced and you can start anywhere so you can choose which part of which level suits you and jump straight in.

The best part is all of the audio lessons are free to listen to or download but if you want to pay for premuim membership you get a whole load of supplementary lessons that go along with each lesson.

Good luck,
Mark
