A question here, please:

780 million = 7亿8千万 ?
= 780 000 万?
= 78 000万?

中文与英文的数字互译一直是许多人的头疼事。但是,有规律可循。你的问题因该是:

7亿8千万 或者写成:7.8亿

关键是记住:“万万”就等于“亿”。

Remember the word "萬" Nov 8, 2006

In Chinese, 萬 "0000"is a basic unit - "four digits", corresponding to "000" in English. 億 "0000,0000" in fact works just like "000,000", that is 萬萬 is 億 and thousand thousand is million.
