1.Provincetown, Cape Cod, MA

This is where it all started. The "Mayflower" landed here on November 21,1620. Sticking out like an arm into the Atlantic, Cape Cod marks the eastern end of the US continent.

2.Pilgrim Landing,Cape Cod, MA

This is where the Mayflower touched shore, a grassy swamp on the very tip of Cape Cod, where the exhausted and thirsty passengers (about a hundred of them) got their first drink of fresh water from the new continent after drifting on the Atlantic Ocean for 66 days. They later moved to anchor at Plymouth, MA and settled there.

Here is more about the Mayflower:

Thank you! I must say these photos are wonderful although Lewinsky was not shown.

You have a great Thanksgiving, too!

BTW, the turkeys pardoned by the President Bush in the White House today are named "May" and "Flower". Bush says they’re certainly better than the names the Vice President suggested, which were "Lunch" and "Dinner."

Nov 22, 2007

The scenery let you recall your nice days together with your dear mom and dad, the feeling just like my dad remember his childhood with his beloved mom (a graduate of Jinan Univ.), a knowleable lady in his heart even in his life, and dad (a graduate of Yanjin Univ., now Peking Univ.), you went to repair the Earth in 1960's and 1970's while my dad joined the Chinese People's Volunteer Army in 1950's fortunately did not fight in N. K.

Feb 24, 2008

Pei Ling,
