以前做的项目都是英国人写的，最近做了几个美国的单子，感觉美国英语与英国英语有些区别，好像是语法习惯，具体也说不太清，请熟悉的朋友谈谈不同国家的英语习惯好吗？

My Chinese input is not working today. so I have to write in English. BE and AE use different vocabularies a lot of time. Also I think the writing style is a little different. BE tend to be more formal. I think AE is easier to read.

二十多年前，我学《Follow Me》是英式英语，发音也完全英国化。后来常听《维欧埃》英文台的节目，觉得美音好听，尤其是那句 This is the Voice of America...，模仿了良久，后完全改美式发音。今天在北外，套个学位耍耍，发现又是英式，Okie Dokie，反正都是英文，不拘哪种，统统学啦！
四年前给学生上课，也给徒儿们这样讲。后来一节课全改英音，下课后，同学哀求，请返回美音吧，不然听不懂啦。:D ...

对于英语文章，我比较喜欢英式，觉得比较规范，容易看懂。英音、美音没什么偏好，voa BBC 都听 ：）

可能是美国娱乐业比较发达的原因吧,一直都接触美式英语多一些.
24刚刚追完了第6季,Prison Break也追了两季,还有Lost\4400\hero等等.最近比较期待Transformers,童年的最爱啊.希望真人版不要让人失望.
至于区别,在体育方面我倒是发现一个小区别.
在书面表示中:
NBA,一般是主场在后,客场在前.
比如明早的UTA vs SAS.(一般解释为UTA@SAS)
是马刺主场.
而在英国,乃至欧洲,则正好相反.
比如上月末的Man Utd vs AC Milan
是MU打主场.
另外,个人最熟悉的还是singlish.大学四年,练就了一口纯正的singlish,呵呵.

American English and British English also spell the same word differenly sometimes, especially the 'ze' and 'se' words. Examples: AE: specialize, BE: specialise; AE: check, BE: cheque; AE: racket, BE: racquet etc.

翻译过英国人写的论文与美国人写的论文,感觉英国人写的句子长度是美国人的两倍。读起来比较难受，我就在翻译时，边看边加在原文里加上逗号断句。否则有时一句话要读很多遍。
