| | | Donglai Lou (X) China Local time: 18:58 English to Chinese + ... | Shaunna (X) United States Local time: 06:58 English to Chinese + ...
赶紧做书签留下。先谢过Donglai 再请问一下,那里列举了好几种拼音,用那种呢?汉语拼音还是通用拼音? | | | Donglai Lou (X) China Local time: 18:58 English to Chinese + ...

| | | Bill Mak Local time: 18:58 English to Chinese + ...

Hi, I would say you should think about who the readers will be of your document. Depending on the skopos I would render the names and place names differently. For example the British academic world generally uses pinyin so any newer document for use in British academia I would render into pinyin. It all depends on the readership. Just my opionion, David | | | hewhew Local time: 18:58 Chinese to English + ... TOPIC STARTER

Just my opionion, David Do you mean mainland pinyin or Taiwan pinyin? I got the job from a US based translation company. I think the readers should be US readers. If the original text is from mainland, I think that there is no problem, I shall use Mainland pinyin. | | | Wenjer Leuschel (X) Taiwan Local time: 18:58 English to Chinese + ...
| | | To report site rules violations or get help, contact a site moderator: You can also contact site staff by submitting a support request » 求教 Trados Business Manager Lite | Create customer quotes and invoices from within Trados Studio
