Hello everybody. I've just finished translating a document with DVX2. I clicked on the export button, and the result is a Word file containing only the first two pages (translated) of the original file. I don't understand why this happens, where are all the other pages translated? Can you help me, please? Thank you in advance, Irene

Hi Irene, It seems that there are some missing codes in the target column. Press Ctrl+Shift+F8 to check codes (also available under QA menu). Kind regards, Selcuk

Thank you, Selcuk. I checked, there are all codes (if a code misses, the program signals it)... I still see only the first two pages...

Hi Irene, Is it possible that your original document has some hidden text (starting from page 3?) Hidden text appears as slightly underlined if you tick "Hidden text" in Word, Extra > Options > Display. Mike

Hello Mike, No, there aren't hidden parts in the text. To be honest I don't see the whole second page of the document, just the first lines... really a mistery!

Irene, It is possibly an embedded code problem. If it is not a confidential file, I would like to see the project file and the original document. Selcuk

Irene, Can you check the file with this SQL Filter. Source LIKE '*[!\]}' AND Target_XXXX NOT LIKE '*[!\]}' It will display segments in which there is a code at the end of the source segment but that code missing in the target. I think you need to fix them. Selcuk

Thank you, but I've never used SQL filters, so I don't know how they work and how to check the file with that filter...

Click at Segment Selector above (All Segments) Select SQL Statement Type Source LIKE '*[!\]}' AND Target_XXXX NOT LIKE '*[!\]}' and click Apply Now you will see a filtered view of your file Correct codes And when finished go back to All Segments view --------------------- You have many codes in wrong order E.g. {1}Wrong{2} code in source {2}Wrong{1} code in target Use ... Fix each and press Ctrl+Shift+F8 again. Better first check order of codes in all segments view and fix them, and then try to export. If fails, then use that SQL filter.

Irene, I reimported the same file with CodeZapper option Guess how many codes now, only 355 (it was 649 before). Less codes less problems, use built-in CodeZapper option (thanks Dave). Besides, you are using an older build (533), upgrade to the latest 572. Selcuk

Mm, where do I find this CodeZapper option? I upgraded DVX2 this morning, I'm using the latest 572. Irene
