Is there a demand for Russian > Dutch translations

A colleague of mine who is a Dutch native speaker wants to enter the translation field. He has an excellent command of English, but he also has an excellent understanding of Dutch. He is wondering if he should devote his energy to looking for work from English or rather from Russian. How big is the Russian to Dutch market? Who are the outsourcers in general - well-paying Dutch/Belgium clients or Russian clients (perhaps not as well paying). All advise is appreciated.
